Jason's first board exam finished a week ago (hallelujah!) and we have been spending a lot of much-needed time together. Since everyone else went to one of the jump placed (ours is called Pump It Up) we went, too! We went on Tuesday and all of us had a blast!

Here is my new haircut. I just got it done yesterday and LOVE IT! I hope I can do it almost as well as the hairdresser...

Here we are on Monday at the Pink Palace Museum. It was one of the most boring museums I have ever been to. Luckily, because of our COSI membership (thanks, Hicks!) it was free. I would never pay to go there! It was fun to do something different, though.

Spring Break

Yesterday we got back from our spring break vacation in Utah/Vegas.  In 6 days we visited 3 cities with Eric's families in them.  We had a blast and loved visiting.Here Noah and Eric are sliding down a huge inflatable slide at an inflatable playground.We played at a park in St. George (the weather was gorgeous).In Vegas we gambled and went to Tournament of the Kings and were a part of the Norway section-what great luck.Here is the view of Vegas from the top of the Stratosphere.While in Vegas we went to a children's museum that Noah loved.And here is a sight we saw much of since we were in the car every 2 days.  We had a great time, but are happy to be home.

Annual Pinewood derby race

Today was the ward annual pinewood derby. Our kids actually did pretty well. We were happy for them. I'm sure it was due to the time Charlie spent filing and sanding the axles for their cars. Makayla placed third and Merrit placed fourth in the primary class and Alexis won the open class. They set up the race for double elimination and unfortunately Jaxson didn't win either race he raced in. Chelsea won a couple of heats, but didn't place. All in all it was a fun time for all and something my kids look forward to every year. I'm glad it's a ward activity and not just for the cub scouts. Here they are with their cars.

Birthdays, etc.

Since no one has posted anything in such a long time, Mom encouraged me to post some family pictures from the last birthday gathering. She especially wanted me to post the pictures Makayla took with my camera. And since I am giving Makayla some exposure, I thought I would also post a couple of pictures Jaxson took as well.
