Snow Day

These were taken after our big snow storm.  It was so nice to be inside with my family and not have to go out!

fourth pic

Sorry that this took so long, I haven't really been online on the computer in what seems like forever.  This is Eric's computer so there aren't many pictures, but let's see what we got.
This picture was taken August 14, 2010...this was included in our first 365 book-where I took a picture every day of the year.  Look how little he used to be.

fourth pic

Our pictures are all screwed up on our computer, so I just opened a random folder and added the fourth picture.  Here she is, Macie right after her haircut this spring.  It really was so cute, this makes me want to have it cut again.

Downtown Rochester

For family night last week, Dad and I drove to Rochester to see the lights.  They drape the buildings along their main street with lights and it looks really neat.
I took most of the pictures out of the car window and the windshield wasn't very clean, sorry about that.

Thanks!

Great pictures everyone! Thanks for participating. I'm officially finished for the semester. I think I've pulled an A in all my classes. There is one I'm a little if-y on because I did pretty poorly on the final exam. But at the worst I should only get a B in that class because I did well the rest of the semester. Now I have 2 weeks of no school. I won't really call it a break, because it's not really going to be with all the other stuff I have going on, but at least I won't have school to worry about on top of that.

Picture tag and more

Here's our picture tag picture. It's a picture of one of the sample sites where Heather gathered water samples for her master's thesis. This one was called Mill Branch. Leading down from the road, it had a nice muddy slope filled with roots to trip over. Combined with the fact that her thesis was about rainfall run-off so the whole point was to get out there right after rain storms, many of which happened at night, and you've got a recipe for twisted ankles and muddy falls. Great fun.

Here are a few pictures from Halloween, since I never got these up. These are Harvey's and my pumpkins. His is the face, which we got from a book of pumpkin templates. Mine is a carving of jack-o-lantern.

This is Alison's pumpkin. She stayed with us for a the weekend before Halloween. Her's is a Dr. Who owl: Dr. Whooo.

Here's Alison's lit. We used led candles to light them, so the photos are a bit dim.

Harvey's lit.

Mine lit.

Harvey and Simon on Halloween night. Harvey was Batman and Simon was a bat. We tried to get Simon to put on a tie and a hat so he could be Man-bat, but he didn't go for it.

This picture shows Simon's costume better.

Picture Tag

I picked the file named Last Twelve Months.  The file starts out with last year's Christmas party and this is Dad and Scott Stafford in the Every's basement.  The Staffords have been in the group of couples who have come to the party every year.  It's just that that number of people have dwindled over time and the party just kept getting smaller and smaller.

Picture tage game

I remember we did this a couple years ago and thought it was fun. I should be studying right now, but this is more fun. Go to your pictures you've got saved on your computer and pick the fourth picture you have there and tell us about it in another post. I've got folders of pictures so I'm going to pick the first picture of the fourth folder, the fourth picture of the fourth folder and the fourth single picture. This is a picture of us working on our pumpkins that we carved this year. This is us still working on pumpkins. Our family discovered over the summer that we enjoy frisbee golf. This is a picture of us after we finished a course by our house. Can't wait to see all of your photos. We may want to do this again only with later pictures (and I think I'll do it from my desktop too. I have way more pictures on there than the laptop).

The End of An Era

We had our last Christmas party on Saturday night.  The three hosts of the party, the Everys, Ostraffs and us have decided to not have any more of them so we took a group picture.  I thought I'd share the picture with all of you since you know a lot of the people in it.
