So a couple of weeks ago Jana called and said they were going to be celebrating Addie's birthday (a few weeks late) and would we like to come down and participate.  We left Eric here to fend for himself and the kids and I made the what was supposed to be a 4 1/2 hour drive-but really turned into 6 hours...but it's better than the 17 hrs they were before.

 We were shown the pond.

 Played in the pool.

Rode bikes in a thousand races.
Loved some lucky (or unlucky if you ask Jana and me) kittens.

They were two peas in a pod.

Thanks Jana, Jason, Addie, Macie and Carson...we will be visiting again-it was too fun not to come again.

Any Day Now

So, Walter is an obstinate little baby already and refuses to kick when anyone tries to feel him, is always in exactly the wrong position for ultrasounds, and moves around so much that he regularly gets out of range of the monitors for the test I do twice a week.  He definitely takes after me.  True to form, he seems to be getting ready to make his entrance - four weeks early.  I'm having semi-regular contractions that are strong enough to not be considered Braxton-Hicks.  I'm not dilated yet but the doctors are saying that labor could start at any time and if it does they are just going to let it follow its course.  We're all excited and the house is 95% baby ready.   We'll keep you posted!

Joy's Shower

Here are some pictures from Joy's baby shower.
This is a baby in a bassinet that was made by one of Joy's visiting teachers.
Panda cupcakes that Hillary made from scratch!
One of the three diaper cakes that Hillary made.
Onesy cookies made by Joy's visiting teacher.

Joy getting the car seats that we gave her.

Temples

Since no one has put anything on the blog for a long time, I decided to put pictures I took of the temples we've been to since May.

Dad's Beard

Dad wanted me to post his picture that I took before he shaved off his facial hair last night.  If he could grow it for a longer time he could play Santa Claus at Christmas!

More pictures from the Reunion

When I loaded the pictures into Snapfish I didn't realize I had missed some; many were from the night at Erma's.  I loaded those I forgot and here is the link, just in case it has changed.

Hutchinson Reunion

Here are a few of the pictures that I took while we were in Utah.  This one is everyone from the Hill family who went to Erma's on Sunday.

This was taken at the Eccles Dinosaur Park in Ogden.
We went mini golfing for family night at Cherry Hill.
The four of us went to the Logan Temple on Tuesday.
Dad and I played tourist in Salt Lake City on our way down to Ephriam.
The grey stuff between the hill and the clouds is the smoke from the fires that were burning all over.
On Thursday morning the whole family all went to the park and played softball.
In the afternoon Dad and I went to a museum in Fairview and saw the art work of Avard Fairbanks.
The smoke in the air made for a couple of beautiful sunsets.
Naming the baby in the picture game was a big hit.
This is just an example of the minute to win it games that Hillary had prepared.
We topped it all of by going to the Manti Pageant on Friday night.  I think we all had fun and most of us didn't get sick (sorry Jana), so we enjoyed the whole week.  Thank you to everyone who helped and went.  Bill will get ALL of the pictures that I took put on snap fish and post a link for you.
