Just wanted to quickly let you all know that the house appraised for $81,000. Now we are just waiting to find out if the lender will for sure give the mortgage and then what our closing date will be. We are so happy! Things are moving in the right direction.

How wonderful! Do you have any idea where you'll move after that?
YIPEE!!!!(Image that we yelled that in a canyon and that it echoed for miles so that it sounded like one million yipees...then you will clearly understand how excited we are for you!)
Well, we are going to move in with Charlie's sister, Jocelyn, temporarily so we can be a little more picky with our next house. Our plan is to be in a new house by Christmas. We feel this will be a good transition time for our kids to start at a new school and Charlie will have a couple weeks off for Christmas so he'll be able to help us move. We haven't got the closing date yet. Our realtor thinks it will probably be early next week, like Monday or Tuesday. She said the lender is still waiting for some paperwork but she's not sure what it is exactly. She doesn't seem concerned though, so I think that's good. I'll keep you posted as things come up. We did get a storage unit on Saturday and moved most of our furniture in. Our house looks really bare, but we want to be able to move out ASAP after the closing. Things are moving pretty quickly now but we sure feel blessed. Our house was only on the market for 3 months and considering this market, and especially in Flint, that is a pretty short time frame.
