So, the doctor Eric was with last week went to a conference and he got those days off. We decided to make the most of it and went down to Jana's for an extended Mother's Day weekend. Eric helped Jason do some things around the house and the kids played and played. We had an excellent time and here are some pictures to recap the event.
Jack found Sawyer so interesting.
They live in this cul-de-sac that provided the best place to ride.

Addie thinks that if she stands still with her arms out that butterflies will come.
Jana was kind enough to watch all the kids (sans Jack) on Friday morning so that Eric and I could go out on a little date to this old apothecary shop-it was really interesting.
Noah decided to wear that shirt twice, so this is a new day.

Fun time. Wish we were close enough to drive down to spend an extended weekend with y'all. Miss you guys.
Kari, now that you've seen the apothecary shop you should read The Apothecary's Daughter by Julie Klassen. It's a novel set about the same time as that apothecary shop and talks a lot about being an apothecary.
