Mom told about the cool cemetery in Terre Haute, IN. Here are a few shots from it. The first is a Jewish mausoleum and the stained glass window at the back of the mausoleum. There are eight people interred in there. The next two are a pyramid headstone and a world headstone.
Next we stopped at an historic mansion in Mt. Vernon, IL and these are some of the contents, all of which are original to the mansion.

You can always use the slide show website that I used for our wedding pictures...I can't remember the actual site name, but if you go back to the post for our anniversary, it will say on the slideshow. Then you just register and upload your pictures-you are limited to only 50 though. I would like to see more..it looks like you guys had a blast and Addie looks like she's crazy with that Elvis sign.

Your pictures of Graceland turned out so much better than ours. I'm glad you posted the one of you at the Duck Palace, I wanted to steal it and put in on our website!
I wanted to say what a great time we had with you as well. It's been so much fun having family around this month. Kurt, Hillary...when are you coming?
I want to clear up a few things about the pictures. The first mansion was in New Madrid, not Mt. Vernon. And the words seemed to have gotten jumbled up on the pictures of the Carter house and Carnton Plantation. The wall with the bullet holes is an outbuilding at the Carter house, and the elegant mansion is the Carnton Plantation which was used as a field hospital during the battle that took place at the Carter house.
Looks like you guys had a fun time. We'd love to come, but unfortunately we don't really have any vacation time this year. Maybe next summer.
